Abstract: | The aims of this project are to implement a 2-wheels self-balancing car with jump over obstacle function that can remote control by an Android phone. This project involves three main parts (i) mechanical parts (ii) circuit design (iii) software development which included firmware and Android apps development respectively. A circuit board has been designed for control the jumping sumo. The board connected with a Wi-Fi module, gyroscope and accelerometer. The control command is sent from the Android phone to the Wi-Fi module. Base on the command, there are PWM signals sent to the H-bridge for driving motors and perform corresponding actions. The gyroscope and accelerometer use for sensing the inclined angle of jumping sumo and use PI controller algorithm for adjusting the inclined angle. |
