Abstract: 5G sub-6 band, also known as the low-band or mid-band 5G, refers to the frequency bands where the operation range is smaller than 6GHz. To cope with the demand of sub-6 band applications, high selective frequency band antenna of excellent performance such as low-profiles properties is designed. This project aims to design a n41 band(2.496-2.690GHz) magnetoelectric dipole antenna. The antenna is excited by a pair of open-ended slots for dual linear polarization. It exhibits the characteristics of low-profile and high gain. The simulation model of the design achieves high isolation smaller than -35dB, high gain of 11dBi and low back lobe radiation smaller than -25dB with good radiation characteristics.
