The positioning system has been widely used since 2000. Global Positioning System (GPS) is the most famous outdoor positioning system. It can provide precise positioning for approximately 98% of the earth's surface area. However, GPS cannot provide accurate positioning for the indoor environment. This is because there are some obstacles in the indoor environment, they will block and interfere with the signal transfer from the satellites. Therefore, many people are recommended to use Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Visible Light Communication (VLC) to improve the performance of the indoor positioning system. VLC will be used to make an indoor positioning system in this project. The polarizing-based VLC modulation is used to present the indoor positioning system. The accuracy deviation of the indoor positioning system in this project is within 5cm. However, the indoor positioning system sometimes will show the incorrect result. There is not enough time to improve the system, but the indoor positioning system will be further improved, and the error rate will be reduced in the future.en_US
