dc.description.abstractThis project will greatly enhance the teaching and learning experience of the course GE 2325 Chemistry of Sustainable Life, which is a sustainability courses offered to all CityU students. Students will be guided to perform hands-on experiments, i.e. converting food waste generated from home to Eco-DIY products for daily applications. To enforce discovery and innovation, student will be encourage the full use of these recycled resources in daily life. This enhanced learning platform will facilitates students to explore, discover and understand clearly the role and importance of chemistry in sustainable life, how informed decisions could be made with respect to the use of food waste, how to tackle food waste in terms of reduction at source, reuse and recycling, and turning into useful resources.en_US
