dc.description.abstract | For a long time, the customer behavior has been difficult to track due to the large amount of people within the area and the limited resources to generate the statistics. This project demonstrates a possible way, utilizing computer vision, to track, recognize and summarize the customers' appearance, interest, and behavior using affordable computers and smart devices. Also, a big data based storage is constructed to ensure the scalability of computer resources and recoverability of the data. By doing so, economic decisions can be made to increase the customer flow of shops in a mall and further, raise the income of the mall owner by providing such constructive service to the shop owners. | en_US |
