| dc.description.abstract | The e-commerce market is expanding tremendously with significant developments in mobile applications few years ago. The scale of mobile application development in e-commerce business booms where many entrepreneurs believes mobile applications is a golden key to boom sales and revenues. This final year project inherits the idea of e-commerce mobile applications with developments of CityU Sale application in Android platform. Last year, a group called "Cityu Book Trade" was founded on Facebook which provides a social platform for CityU students to trade textbooks. Many students found the group to be extremely useful but lacking trading efficiency at the same time. All Facebook posts created by users on Facebook wall provides no searching nor sorting function which will highly facilitate users to search for a specific post. Therefore, "Cityu Book Trade" Facebook group is highly inefficient for students to trade. In this project, CityU Sale application aims to provide an online mobile application platform for CityU students to trade any items in the most efficient way. | en_US |
