The aim of this project is to build up eMat (app/ web) in the dynamic platform of improved Information Technology (IT) of *Lab 2.0, in enhancing the student DEC learning experience in CA Lab in construction & structural material science. The eMat focus on a common materials science topic met within undergraduate teaching and learning. Many of these include video clips from experiments, along with standard features such as an introduction, summary, questions and answers, references for further study, and links to the MATTER Glossary of Materials Science. Then to disseminate these techniques within the materials education community in the CityU. Broader benefits are also likely, since some of the material emerging from the activity should be suitable for wider dissemination that will promote awareness of materials science in other disciplines (Physic & Mechanical Science) and in the industry.en_US
