Data-driven decision-making has been increasingly popular in data-rich environments such as manufacturing, service, and logistics systems (e.g., automotive plants, airport terminals, warehouses). Effective solutions for data acquisition, storage, processing, and analysis (ASPA) are therefore critically important for realization of business intelligence and analytics. In recent decades, advanced technologies on data ASPA systems have been developed, such as Radio-frequency identification (RFID), cloud storage/computing, wireless networks, etc. This project aims to bring some leading technologies in data ASPA to classroom teaching to give students hands-on experience on them.en_US
