Enterprise mobile information publishing system with Google cloud messaging

Abstract

The phenomenal growth in popularity of internet access in mobile devices has captured various business interests, and more companies are migrating their working environment onto mobile platforms. This project aims to develop a prototype of company scope information publishing system on mobile platform with Google Cloud Messaging Service. It incorporates areas of algorithms, mobile computing and database, and will demonstrate my ability of problem analysis, information gathering, problem analysis, creative design, technology implementation, and critical thinking as well. Upon completion of the project, we will deliver a prototype system with three components: client application of Java Android, central server system of Java frontend and servlet, as well as a source server system also with frontend and servlet in Java.
