Adding sound record to photo - an iOS apps to enhance life quality of the visually impaired

Abstract

A recreational iOS apps is created for the blind user. Let the user to take photo and then take some sound record by their friends having good sight on the photo by a transmitting process through the server, so that it can be reviewed later. (a)For the apps part: This apps is written by Objective-C as a programming language and Xcode 5.1 as a programming engine. (b)For the server part: The transmitting process is executed by the code written by php as a scripting language. A database saving the transmitting file is created by mySQL format inside a server set by MAMP. A survey had be held by being blind people to use iPhone, in order to understand the usage of the iPhone by the blind before the start of the project. The outcome of this survey is the sense of "Blind user-friendly". As a result a clear interface is designed for the blind user on this apps.
