Abstract: Robots are not widely used in our life because it is not user friendly until they can be controlled by a normal user who is not a programmer. Nowadays robots are always used in industry for doing a single repeating motion. They cannot interact nor communicate with human. NAO is a human-shaped robot which is made in Frence. It seems more closer to people, but it still need a programmer to program it or teach it some motions or actions. Therefore, my project is about studying and programming different method of robot control. For instance, move its body physically and record it. Or, control it with a Kinect for XBOX. Even, control it with a drawing panel to make it draw. With these kinds of methods, user without any programming knowledge can also control a robot simply by moving his body. The further development may be using brain machine to get brain signal and control the robot by just thinking.
