Abstract: | Nowadays, motion sensing devices become important for daily life. It is not only used for playing game, but also provides a different method interact with the computer that daily used. Apart from Kinect and Wii remote that are well-known nowadays. Another motion sensing product has been published last year (2013). The device is called the Leap Motion. This is a tiny USE peripheral device that can sense the hands and finger movement for the user as input. The function is similar to mouse but it is not necessary for hand contact and touching. In this project, a desktop application is developed with using the Leap Motion Controller. Users can create, translate, rotate, scale as well as destroy the objects within a 3D environment using the Leap Motion Controller. Moreover, user can view the 3D environment sing their own hand. Therefore, users can edit or decorate their own 3D environment and present as well as interact with others. |
