IOS App for university students to rent an ideal apartment

Abstract

As tradition, there are five things that the university students need to experience - work for part-time, live in hall, find the true love, skip the lesson and be a society member. Students can learn to be independent and communication skills after having hall experience, however, there is a seriously insufficient places in all universities hall. With the limited quota and some of the places offered to the exchange students, there are a number of students fail in hall application or return application. Is any alternate way to have a similar experience? Sure, renting house is one of the choices which become a trend in different universities. Without renting experience, the students feel helpless even have a chance cheated when they start finding the house. Thus, a platform is needed to provide the apartment information and the tips to help the students rent a cheapest and ideal house. The purpose of this project is to develop an iOS application, named "HomeSweetHome". The main target is university students, and the app can help the students with no experience to rent an ideal house. "HomeSweetHome" not only provides information on a number of buildings, but also analyses the benefits and disadvantage of each district so as to give a reference for the students before renting. Moreover, students can bookmark the house they are interested in, they can share with the classmates immediately. The most attractive point of this app is that it suggests the renting tips to students so that they have a basic understanding on renting.
