This project is aimed to design a signal generator and analyzer. It includes the function of Function Generator, Frequency Counter and Oscilloscope. In Function Generator part, it can generate sinusoidal, triangular and square waveforms from 1Hz to 999999Hz. The user can select waveform, frequency, offset voltage and amplitude on the front LCD panel. In Frequency Counter part, it can count the frequency at different time gate and display the result. In oscilloscope part, it can display the input waveform on the LCD. The user can select various voltage division and time division. The frequency domain of the signal is also available on LCD by applying 128 points Fast Fourier Transform on the incoming signal. The maximum sampling rate of the oscilloscope is 1MSample/s. The design is based on a waveform generator chip AD9833, an analog to digital converter AD9281 and a MCU ATMEGA64. The project involves both hardware and software designs. It is a low cost but high performance product.en_US
