A Dynamic Web Fonts Solution for Rendering Chinese Characters in Webpage

Abstract

In the old days, the internet only allow distribution of knowledge and information in single direction, client browser are only allow to request the resources they need but not allowed to edit the information or share their information with the user all over the world using internet. Time has changed everything. When technology growing fast, the internet can support more user and provide more different service to user. Some internet platform was developed to allow people taking part in the share of knowledge and information. Great searching engine also provide an extremely easy and convenient way for client to enquire the information they need. If people get a question or some difficult terms they want to find out the answer. They can simply type the text in Google and click the search button. A number of information can be obtained. Some web site providing centralized knowledge allowing web user to edit and maintain the correctness of the knowledge. A number of forum and platform was created and people can upload their comments or video to share with other people. Communication between web clients can be established. Since the occurrence of these platforms, people spend more and more time in surfing in the internet. This would be a great chance for these platforms and web sites to attract more people in order to increase their popularity so that their service can continue or they can have more customers for their business. One of the options to attract more people and leave a good impression in the people's mind is to have a smooth and fancy title can help web designer to decorate their website. Actually, there is a number of font rendering method based on SVG font. However, these applications are not designed for the Chinese Character Language. Therefore, this project is aims as providing font converting service for Chinese web designer.
