Abstract: | In this project, an android application which aims to help people on presenting ideas is developed. The presenter can use this android application to draw something on his or her device to help him or her to present better. The listeners can use their own android devices to connect to the presenter to see everything the presenter draws in their own android devices synchronously. There are mainly 2 parts in this project. The first part is the basic note taking functions such as drawing, multiple pages, note saving and etc. Also, drawing smoothing and display speed speeded-up are also done to enhance the drawing performance. In the second part, TCP sockets are used to share presenter's drawing to the listeners synchronously. Moreover, some communication protocols are defined and used to decrease the displaying delay on listeners' devices. And also some other communication protocols are defined to handle the synchronization problem for reconnections and late connections. |
