dc.description.abstractG6 Chinese Input Method is an enhanced stroke based Chinese input method with use of (3+3) encoding rules for increasing the input speed for Chinese characters with a long of strokes. The main objective of this project is to enhance the Chinese character database search method and keypad/keyboard design of the G6 MS-Windows versions. SQLite database is used to store and searching of the Chinese characters and phrases for improve the speed and the further development of the G6 input methods. In addition, new keypad and keyboard are designed using UIOJKL keys for the stroke keys assignment, which can enhance the user experience. Finally, the installation method of the G6 MS-Windows 32-bit and 64-bit versions are also improved.en_US
