Kinect, a high technology product based on the idea of using motion sensing as controlling input and enables augmented reality, has huge potentials for being applied among a wide range of fields. Hereby, we are analyzing and developing one of its main applications, virtual dressing system, which enables users to dress themselves various kinds of clothes and has a large potential in fashion market. The virtual dressing system employs the idea of augment reality (AR), which is implemented by using skeletal animation technology (one of the most commonly used technology in computer graphics) and 3D graphics API - OpenGL under Visual C++, integrated with the 3D model constructed and rigged under 3D modeling software - Maya, sensing tool - Kinect and its SDK.en_US
