In this report, a printed diversity antenna operating between 1880MHz and 2420MHz is proposed and deeply studied. It can operate at the UMTS2100MHz, TD-LTE2300MHz and WLAN2400MHz bands and can be widely used in mobile terminals, such as cellphones, Laptops and Tablet PCs. The Antenna consists of two symmetric monopoles back to back. The ground plane comprises one T-shaped branch and two symmetric inverted-L-shaped branches which are used to enhance the isolation between the two monopoles and adjust the resonant frequency. Some important parameters on the antenna's configuration are studied by changing their values to see how they affect the antenna's performance and then an optimum antenna or a prototype of the antenna is proposed. Simulated and measured performance of the prototype, including input impedance, S11 & S21 figures, 2D radiation pattern, and efficiency, are compared and analyzed. Besides, the diversity performance, including correlation coefficient and diversity gain, is calculated based on the simulated input impedance. Finally, SAR value of the optimum antenna is measured to see its effect on humans' head tissue.en_US
