dc.description.abstract | This project is aimed to win the Robocon 2005 robot competition which will hold on Beijing. Several mechanics and electronics components design will be discussed in this project report including (1) the mechanical design of the robots (2) the H-bridge motor drivers. (3) White Line follower using infra-red sensors (4) Ultrasonic transducer. (5) Selection of batteries. Mechanical design is the heart of the project, but this project report will mainly focus on the electronics parts. There are a lot of restrictions of the robot competition. The number of robot in the Auto region is unlimited. However, in the manual region, only one machine is allowed to run in the game field. Moreover, the total weight of all the robots must below 50kg. And the power supply is restricted to be below 24V dc. Due to the restriction state, the range of materials selection is difficult. For instance, the motor and the motor diver, the batteries selections are not much for selection. | en_US |
