Title: Effects of multiple wireless communications devices radiations on Specific Absorption rate (SAR) induced in human body

Abstract: Multiple function wireless communication devices with multiple sources frequency operation are commonly used, such as smart-phone or PDA. However, a little research for multiple sources of frequency communication devices has been done. As a result, an investigation of the Specific Absorption rate (SAR), which is a measure of the rate of energy absorption due to electromagnetic field, induced in human body is necessary. In published researches for single sources frequency, the placing of antenna in a mobile device and the distance between the device and user showed the significant effect to the SAR value. This project will mainly focus on the simulation, using HFSS, of two-patch antennas with 2.45GHz and 5.8GHz radiation to SAR induced in human body and investigate three parameters. Different orientations and separation of the two antennas and the distance between the antenna and body tissue will be investigated. The results have shown that the antennas have their own radiation pattern and have no obvious effect from another antenna with different orientation and separation in most cases. The results have also shown that the SAR induced in human body will affected by the separation between two antenna and SAR reduced with longer distance between body and antenna.
