Web-based patient recording system using Android

Abstract

Nowadays, the Senior Citizen Home Providers are lacking of a user friendly systematic patient information recording system. The provision of a free and user friendly Patient Recording System will help them to simplify the handling of daily records of their patients and provide suitable alert to early handling of problem cases. In this project, an android application is developed based on some open sources on developing a Web based Patient Record Document System suitable to be accessed by Android devices. The users can login this system to record their patients' records without using handwriting and cumbersome documents. The environmental-friendly interface can help users easily get used to the system. In addition, a patient's alert will be sent to the responsible doctor to inform the doctor to take care of the patient. The application was developed using Database, Web programming (which including HTML, PHP and JAVASCRIPT) and interfacing to Android devices.
