dc.description.abstract	In this project, a Campus guide at City University of Hong Kong has been designed by the use of the embedded system with Microchip PIC24 device. The design also supports a touch screen module so that users can easily interact with the guiding system. This guiding system not only provides visitors or new comers the locations of the units (e.g. Departments, Lecture Theatres, Library, etc.) in CityU but also gives the detailed descriptions of the units, including available facilities, opening hours, contact information and so on. Moreover, a searching function has been implemented so that users can quickly find the location of a particular venue.	en_US
