Abstract: | A low-profile dual-polarized magneto-electric dipole antenna excited by two Gamma-shaped stripes is designed, simulated and tested. The antenna achieves an impedance bandwidth of around 20% (SWR<2) at both input ports, and the middle frequency is around 2.8GHz. The antenna yields the maximum gain of 10dBi. The radiation pattern is consistent throughout the main working frequency, and the beamwidth is about 60°. The isolation performance is less satisfactory compared to other parameters, where the further development can be focused on. It is designed to be suitable for mobile communications. |
