Abstract: | iOS is an operating system that runs applications on Apple's mobile devices such as iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. The aim of this project is to develop an iOS application that used to watch stored videos from the Internet, share bookmarked websites to other iOS devices and watch live videos from a webcam connected to a computer. To allow watching live videos, a computer side application is used to send live video to the iOS application. The iOS application and computer side application are developed by using Xcode tools and iOS simulator. And the Objective-C programming language is used for the development in this project. A Macintosh computer, which running Mac OS X 10.6.7 is used as the development platform of this project. In the iOS application, the user can browse the Internet and search the video he like, and then bookmark the website, which containing the user's favorite video. After bookmarking, the user can watch the video inside the bookmarked website quickly. And the user can share bookmarked website to other iOS devices. The user can also watch live video from the computer side application that developed in this project. |
