Nowadays, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) system is a useful tool for many purposes such as logistics field and for Octopus system in Hong Kong. There are 4 frequency bandwidths for RFID system and the Ultra High Frequencies (902MHz- 928MHz) is investigated in this project. IE3D is used to simulate the result of the design and Network Analyzer is used for two-port measurement. An inductive feed RFID antenna is designed using the passive RFID tag that operates at the Ultra High Frequencies and it performs the receiving and transmitting power function. By considering some method, for example, S11 and differential radar crosssection help to get an idea of the design and then make the adjustment for tuning the size of the design. The read range of the design is investigated and a special aspect of the RFID system is focus that is the platform-tolerance.en_US
