Abstract: | In Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) of underwater robotics, the most important part is the propeller. In each of the ROV, there are at least three propellers to provide three-dimensional explorer under the water or in the sea. Some of the ROV's are up to six. So in ROV's the most power consumption is in the propeller. So the thrust control from the motor is most important. An efficiency control can reduce the power consumption, also can reduce loading from the supplier (Control center in the ship) or increase the battery lifetime of ROV's (Some ROV's operated in battery) In this project, it can separate in several parts. Firstly, Motor characteristic and Thrust characteristic and their relationship. Second, hardware design that included Micro-controller circuit, motor driver circuit and feedback circuit design. Third, Micro-controller software, Terminal software, control methodology and implementation. |
