Abstract: | This project is a part of a large data network. The project aims to build a solution for remote data acquisition, which enables us to measure environment quantities, such as light levels, temperature, wind speed, water levels, etc. in outstation. Subsequently, these captured data can be able for logging in a data server and used for system analysis. The main objective of this project is to design a system for remote I/O data acquisition and control by Advanced RISC Machine (ARM) with General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) technology. GPRS module enables the system passing data to the data server which is running in LAMP configuration. The server with mass storage and embedded web server allow the user to interface with real time monitoring like viewing captured data in graph via a webpage. |
