Title: Design of circularly polarized dielectric resonator antenna

Abstract: In this project, a new design of Circularly Polarized Dielectric Resonator Antenna working in 2.4GHz (ISM Band) is presented. L-shape DR is introduced for this design, and it is excited by a metal strip, which compatible with a coaxial cable. By software simulation, the return loss, radiation pattern and axial ratio of the antenna are being studied. The antenna is also fabricated, and measurement is done to verify the result from simulation. Finding and techniques for designing the antenna will be presented and discussed.
