Abstract: | In Single Channel, the Slotted Aloha is an enhanced version of the pure Aloha protocol. Slotted Aloha introduces timeslots and double the maximum throughput. This project analyzed the performance of the Slotted Aloha in multiple channels environment using the simulations with JAVA. From the results, the throughput and delay was found to be improved significantly when more channels were added to the system. As expected, the number of channels is a main factor which affected the performance. In our simulations, the relation between performance and number of channels are demonstrated. |
