Abstract: This project investigates the practicability of employing a new technique for encryption system. This new technique has the advantage of single optical path operation and mulit-beam holographic encode storage. In this system holograms can be formed by interference the object beam by blazed grating. A reflective spatial light modulator (SLM) LC-R 2500 is used to implement of reference beams synchronously. In addition, sandwiching the SLM between two groups of polarizers will become an effective and simple encode or decode set-up. In this project, we are able to achieve the storage of these images in the same location of the hologram. The reconstructed images decoded by the reference beam were obtained successfully. The storage capacity of this system can also be increased significantly.
