A new architecture for an RF Transmitter which employs a digitally-assisted circuit was proposed recently. As digitally-assisted design helps to improve the overall circuit performance and provide better design flexibility, it is proposed to be one of the promising candidates for future telecommunication systems. This new RF Transmitter, namely Delta-Sigma Digitized Polar RF Transmitter, contains several building blocks in both digital and analogue domain. This project developed several building blocks for this application. Particularly, a novel Class-F power amplifier employing a push-pull configuration was developed. This amplifier provides high output power under a low voltage supply condition.en_US
