Abstract: | The need of antenna elements is quickly increasing lately due to difference mobile communication systems operated in the market. Many types of antennas in the market, they can be classified into two classification which are circularly-polarized and linearly-polarized elements. Linearly-polarized antennas are suitable for transmitting & receiving the radio frequency (RF) signals. Wireless system & wireless protocol such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, WiMAX, UMB and LTE used in indoor with difference frequency usually. For that reason, in this project a study of development of new ultra-wide band (UWB) antennas comprising an electric dipole and magnetic dipole antenna is described. An ultra-wide band (UWB) antenna of 100% (SWR≤2) from the lower frequency of 1.3GHz to higher 4GHz is complete. The gain of antenna around 8dBi is found across the all operating frequency (BW). The proposition structure is based on the technique of combining a magnetic dipole antenna with an electric dipole antenna. All antenna structure are used HFSS to simulation the result such as return loss, VSWR, gain and radiation pattern. HFSS can get the result which close measurements result. For that reason, HFSS find out the structure which has ultra-wide band capability firstly. |
