dc.description.abstract | Proportional Transportation Distance (PTD) is a useful distance measure which holds triangle inequality property for indexing and gives flexibility on the definition of signature. Similarities between 2 songs are considered as a special case of transportation problem. Streamlined simplex method and vantage indexing was implemented to improve the system performance. There are 3 types of weights adjustment used note number weight, stress weight and downbeat weight. Each weight adjustment has its own functionality. In my experiment, it was shown that the experimented query options could improve in precision rate by 0.6 to 0.7. | en_US |
