Abstract: | A new RFID tag antenna designed by using inductive feed, which is operating at 902-928MHz, is presented. The tag antenna consists of a radiating body and a feeding loop. When using inductive feeding, a great inductance can be produced to balance off the capacitance of the chip and thus the impedance matching is done between the antenna and the RFID chip. The maximum power can be transformed from the tag consequently. In addition, the tag antenna is platform tolerant which means that it is functioning well when mounting on different material surfaces with just a slightly variations on performance.
