Abstract: | This project is mainly focus on designing RFID tag antenna. And it is operated for the ultra high frequency range (0.902-0.928GHz). This is a path antenna. During the simulation of the design, it is mainly focus on conjugate match gain and the impedance matching. The reason of focusing on impedance matching is that the exact conjugate matched between the tag and the chip can provide a maximum power transfer from the tag antenna. By tuning the variable, we can change the imagine part of the impedance. As the chip’s impedance is 16-380j, 380j is the best choice of match it. In the project, the testing of the RFID tag antenna will attach to different platform to measure the read range. It should have similar result in different platform. In the test, the platforms included plastic (acrylic), wood and aluminum. The maximum measured read range is 150cm. |
