Abstract: | The aim of the project is to develop a secure remote monitoring system to monitor users’ home or store via the images over network. In addition, the images encryption and motion detect is added in the transition process. A password is required to decrypt the images and the user can choose whether to use the motion detect function according to their preference. In this project, the embedded Linux (a type of operating system) has been successfully built onto the ARM board for establishing a communication link between the webcam device and the application program. To enable the source program to be executed on the ARM9embedded Linux platform, a number of studies related to kernel building, file system management, and the compilation of ARM9Linux application have been done. |
