In Hong Kong, mobile messaging technology is a very popular wireless phone communication service that lets users easily receive and send short text messages to other cell phones. In fact, it has gained huge usage in Asia due to the low charge rate and some companies integrated this mobile messaging technology with their services in order to convenience their client. For examples, Swiss airline allows their customers to check-in, or request services by sending a SMS. Although internet is widely used and provided different kind of services, internet connection must be established or special handheld devices are needed before you gain access to these services. The common internet connections like LAN, Wi-fi, Edge and 3G are usually charged by data rate. Also, not all the area has wireless internet coverage. As a result, it is my intension to develop a SMS booking system that provides customer to book sport facilities by sending SMS, and also booking can be done on web. By using this SMS booking system, customers are able to check class schedule, book facility and make simple enquiry through GSM network. There are some benefits to the customers. First, booking can be made almost anywhere when there is mobile reception. Second, no extra cost is needed for booking service, only very low SMS cost by their own service provider.en_US
