Abstract: Multiple-Antenna Systems are widely used in wireless communications areas. It is because its channel can offer a higher channel capacity over a single-input-single-output (SISO) channel. In this project, we focus on single stationary user Multi-Input-Single-Output (MISO) channel. In order to achieve the maximum channel capacity, we study optimal transmission strategy of transmitter optimization techniques which is involved how to determinate the optimum power allocations and transmission directions under difference types of channel state information (CSI) at transmitter while the receiver has perfect CSI. For difference types of CSI at transmitter, we study either perfect CSI or no CSI and two difference types of feedback model, i.e. mean feedback and covariance feedback. In both cases, numerical results and efficient algorithm which computes the optimum power allocation are shown in this project.
