Abstract: | The prospective of this project is to enhance a previous project (water pumping kit, KFM-01) feature. This new project can be controlled and monitoring by remote desktop or PDA devices (Pocket PC 2002). In order to remain the integrity of the previous project structure, an addition interface is developed for handling data transaction between PDA and water pump program. This new interface is applied "WinSock" to communicate the PDA side (client) and to connect the previous project program. If User hasn't a PDA device, he can also use this interface to remote control the pump system at the remote side. This means that the new program can perform multi-function. User can base on his requirement to apply different structure. Nowadays, most of the control system is used DOS PC to perform “PID” or “Fuzzy” Control equation. These equation is often used a “C” language to achieve the control purpose, but I rewrite these previous project equations into VB and EVB format in this project. These languages can develop a user friendly interface easy. Today there have a very little system can support PDA control in industry, especially PDA control a system via Internet. During this project, I have gained some experience in PDA device program. The new project includes following components: 1. Built up an interface to communicate with previous water pumping system 2. Built up a PDA interface to control the remote pumping system 3. Implement some control equation to control the pumping system. E.g. PID control equation 4. Add file saving and editing feature. |
