Due to the increasing use of internet, lots of information can be got through a browser. However, most web pages are only in 2-D, we can only get what we want by “reading”. In order to breakthrough the 2-D framework, a 3-D environment on the internet was introduced. With this 3-D environment, people not only can “read” that information they need, but also can “feel” the reality which cannot be described by words. In the last years, a virtual Ocean Park had started being developed. Because of the large area of Ocean Park, the project continued to build the rest this year. This project implements a 3-D park using VRML, which is a 3-D modeling language. It focuses on another entrance, Tai Shue Wan entrance, and the Middle Kingdom nearby. Those architectures with ancient Chinese style in the Middle Kingdom are modeled in an approximately real scale. In addition, a virtual tour is provided in the project, to make visitors as if they were visiting the true Middle Kingdom. They can choose to take this tour before they navigate themselves. The tour will lead them to walk around Middle Kingdom, and give a brief idea on it. As last year’s project did, integrations of similar projects are implemented. From this year’s project can reach to the last year’s project (LowLand), and the project two years ago (HeadLand). Contrarily, with added objects in the previous projects, visitors can be back to this year’s project.en_US
