Single coreless printed-circuit board (PCB) transformers are developed recently. They are applied into various aspects and lots of advantages of them such as reducing labour cost of winding core-based transformer [1]. In the project, some characteristics of single coreless PCB transformers are studied. A Planar Power Converter, which is based on the design of single coreless PCB transformers, is developed. In the Planar Power Converter, the voltage gain and some parameters of the multiple coreless PCB transformers matrix platform in different regions are measured in specific frequency range with constant resistive load. It is because the flux is generated in the front and the bottom side during operating the multiple coreless PCB transformers matrix platform. To minimize the flux in the bottom side, ferrite sheets are covered into the bottom side in order to shielding the flux. The shielding performance in different ferrite sheets is also tested in the project with using the frequency range from 100 kHz to 500 kHz. After the Planar Power Converter is developed, it may charge any portable electronic device such as mobile phone with contact-less situation with specific voltage range.en_US
