Abstract: | This project aims to investigate the object locality and behavior of memory management and garbage collection in JavaTM which has been focused by researchers in recent years and resulted in many algorithms. Its simplicity and potential power have been a popular issue among researchers in these years. Object reference information takes advantage to help speeding up in Object-Oriented programming. In this project, the nature and behavior of different objects would be traced. The nature, relationships and behavior of different ages’ objects would be investigated, so as to help the exploitation of the locality for these objects. This project is not only an investigation of the different objects’ structures in JavaTM system, but also can help to improve the performance (execution cycles) of memory system. |
