Abstract: | Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) which provides a guideline for consumer products to have a development of auto-interconnecting in a network in home. Giving an example, there is a camera and a TV station with wireless DLNA devices. They are able to set up a network automatically themselves, so that files of the camera can be accessed by the TV station. However, DLNA has a big problem. The problem is that DLNA does not have a security system to protect itself. Thus, in order to stop intruders to enter the home network, a security system is needed to be developed. This project is to develop a security scheme under the Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) with a Java language platform. This development will play a critical role in the future consumer products with DLNA devices. Also, this project is based on the Secure Terminal/Host Communication System. An authorization system and a secure password management system have been developed for the security system. In these two systems, key management algorithm and message digest are used for the protection of information. |
