A conference review systems

Abstract

My final year project, The Conference review system, which is a web-based system. The software should provide a platform so that different levels of conference organizers can access the system with different right. Different functions are provided for conference organizers at different levels, such as conference chairs, program committees (PC) members, reviewers, monitors and authors. These different classes of organizers should have different rights to access the database and have different responsibilities. WAMP is used for system development for my project. It stands for windows, apache, MySQL and PHP which are a kind of operating system, web server, database server and development language respectively. The aim of my final year project is to modify original system in order to reduce the workload of the chair by granting more power on another level of conference organizer, PC Member, to make the selection run smoothly, a new level of conference organizer, Monitor, is created to supervise the overall review progress, and to record all the information made by any levels of conference organizers.
