| Abstract: | With the rapid growth of wireless technology, mobile application would play a crucial part in the business world to enhance the working efficiency and productivity. This industrial project aims to develop a client-server architecture for accessing server application by personal digital assistance (PDA). The server database is based on the widely used Microsoft Excel files while Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) is the potential user. With division of labour, my key focus in this group project lies on the design and implementation of the data transport layer to the Excel files, user access control, client-based content management and Web Service security authentication. |
